Absent: NosIer. The minutes of the previous meeting were read, corrected and accepted and corrected. The Bids on the B. Street extension were read by the City Superintal- dent. They were a.s follows: Ausland & Dodson Lump sum $7,202.00 H. Barnhart Lump sum 19,988009 &. Ao Zimruerlee . Lump sum '9,552.00 Pinniger & Watkins Lump sum "7,593.40 It was moved by'Merrill, seconded Dodson bid on the B street extension be to be completed in 45 days to be completed in 90 days to be completed in 60 days to be compJe ted in 45 days by Fischborn that the Ausland & accepted. Carried. The financial report was rea.d, accepted and ordered placed on file 0 Fischborn aaked that an itemization be made of all accounts receivable to the city on the next report. The City Attonney's bill on the special elections was read, accepted and orderea paid, and placed on file. Mr. harvey's billlwas also brought before the Council, ordered paid and placed on file. The report of the City Judge was read, accepted and ordered placed on file. Total: $1053000. A letter written by those still interested in the purchase of the airport was read by the City Attorney. After considerable discussion, it was moved by Daugherty, seconded by Redford that the matter of leamng or buying the airport be laid on the table. Carriedo A letter from ~r. Water: Mr. Harvey reported on plans for the water prolect construc- ne stated that plans should be complete for receiving bids by May Chief C. Co Williams reported on parking and drainage at the Zarka Service Stationo M~ Zarka spoke in regard to the pa~~ing of large trucks of his customers, and asked that the council help him to secure property owned by the S.Po R.R., in order that he may provide a parking lot for these trucks.~After discussion of the cutting back of the ~riangle in front Qt t~ Zarka. Carried. After discussion of adjustment of all city emplmyees' salaries, it was moved by Fischborn, seconded by Redford that an adjustment of these salaries be made at a special evening rreeting to be called by the Mayor before the next regular Council session. Carried. An ordinance for Special Benefit Assessments for the Constructim of sewers was read by the City Attorney. It was moved by Daugherty, seconded by Fischborn that the rules be suspended and the ordinance be passed to second reading by title only. Following unanimous roll call the Mayor announced City Ordinance #1080 adopted. Building ~rmits numbering 30 to 41 inclusive. were read, accepted and ordered placed file. Total of permits $40,250. A complaint on outside toilets on Oak Street was discussed.
