The Council met in re;ular session at 7:30 p.m. this date,
Present: ~ayor Wiley, Councilmen Bischborn, Redford, NosIer and

donthly reports for the Electric end Water Dept. were read,
accepted and ordered ~laced on file.
It was reported that A. C. Joy & Clark wanted to rent cemetery
land and install pipe and use city water. It W 8 moved by Redfordj
seconded by NosIer that the request be 3rrnted. Carriod.

ple.c6d on her front lAwn at 568 Ea.st ~,;8in St. 11h6 Oi ty Superinten-
dent re;?orted th~t the J:)ower pole was not located. on her property.
Supt. ~inn ap~roached the Council on purchase of approximately
10 acres of the front pert of the Axel property on Walker Ave.,
stating it W2S the desire of the School Board that it should be in
nei~hborhood of ~lOJOOO. ~he Council lnstruct0d the City Attorney
to vvri te to the School 4,)oard offorin;' them 8 acres for $12,000 or
10 acres for ~14JOOO, includin: the building.

A letter from the Ashland Planning Comrnissian weB read regarding
the construction of board f0nces around wrecking YArds, the widening
of North j',;'ain St 0 and Si.sl{iyou Blvd., and the use of D1Ufflo:rs on
largo trucks.. It was moved by F;ischborn, seconded by Bedford thet
report be accepted end action to be tak8n under rccommendetlon.
