The election returns having been received f,roJ;ll the County Clerk, moi:;ion was

re-turns of 'the elecUon held May 20th, 1938. Carried. .
The Comncil then proceeded "\:0 canvas the returns of 'the election, in accord-
ance wi"\:h "\:he laws in such cases made ond provided. The result 01' said canvas, ai'ter
having been duly made, was ascertained to be as follows:
