The council metbin adjourned session at 5.00 P. M. this date. Present. Mayor Wiley,
Councilmen Applewhite, Crandall, Hansen. Absent: Councilmen Blake, Ingle, Koozer.
The City Superintendent opened bids from the following firms which had been
recei vedl Beall Pipe and Tank Company Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Comprmy
Pure Iron Culvert & Mf'g Co. Consolidated Supply Company
Knox Lumber Company Hugh G. Purcell Company
Ashland Lumner Company Johns Mansville Company
Medford Cohcrete Constr. Co. The Crane Co. for valves & hydrants
The Rensselaer Valve Company for valvesC1 hydrants.
It was moved by Crandall and seconded by Hansen thE.t. the bids be referred to the
Water Committee with power to act. Carried.
Bids were also received for e. truck for the Electric Department e.nd c.pon motion by
Applewhite, seconded by Hansen and carried, these bids vrere referred to tt.e Electric
