Tb:e Council met in adjourned session at 1.30 P. M. this date. Present. Mayor
Wiley. Councilmen Carson, Delsman, Koozer, tayler. Absent: Councilman Crandall, i/i.IJt#P.

There being no one present to offer objeotions. the proposed ordinance levying
the budget :tor the year 1940 in the amount o:t $49,118.00 was read. Moved by Koo%:er
and seconded by Carson that the rules be suspended and the ordinance be passed to the
second reading by title only. Carried. Following the seoond reading, it was moved by
Tayler and seconded by Delsman that the ordinance be adopted as read and :tollowing a
11nRnimnus roll call, the Mayor declared City Ordinance No. 996 adoptod.
On motion. the council adjourned to meet at the call of the Mayor.
