TD- Council met in adjourned session at 5100 P. M. this date. Present, Aoting-
Mayor Keozer, Council.JLen Applewhite. Carson, Cl'llndall, Delsme.n, Tayler. Absent Mayor
Wiley.
The ohief purpose of the meeting was to listen "to a proposal for the leasing of
the Lithia Springs property "to Fr8J:lk J. Burnham who wanted "to test the gas present at
the springs for the purpose of manufacturing dry ioe. Harry C. Shyrman, attorney,
Medford was present with Mr. BurDham. Following a long discussion of tlB matter, it was
moved by Tayler and seoonded by Crandall that a definite proposal for the leasing of the
springs be prepared and submitted by the prosPective lessor for consideration by the I
. Council. Carried.
Upon motion by Crandall, seconded by Carson, approval was given for the expenditure I
of $200.00 by the Chamber of Commerce out of oity money appropriated. toward the support
pf the Pacifio Highway Association. Carried.
Upon motion by Applewhite, seconded by Crandall, the purchase of MoQuillan's
Munioipal Law for use of the City Attorney _s approved at $89.30 net. Carried.
On motion, the oouLcil adjourned to meet at the call of the Mayor:
