The Council met in adjourned session at 11:00 A. M. this dat~. Present. Mayor
Wiley, Councilmen Applewhite, Carson, Crandall, Delsman, Koozer, Tayler. Absent. None

The purpose of the resolution to be read at this meeting was to authorize the
Mayor and City Recorder to enter in"to a lease with Frank J. Burnham for the lease of
the Lithia Spring~ property for a period of 49 years forthe purpose of manutacturi~
dry ioe from the carbon dioxide gas.
It was moved by Keozer and seoonded by Delsman that the rules be suspended and the
resolution passed to the seoond reading by title only. Roll call was ordered on the
motion, the vote being. Ayes. Koozer, Delsmsn, Crandall, Tayler, -Applewhite. Nays".
CarBon. Carried. Following the seoond reading, it was moved by Applewhite andsecondW1
ed by Koozer that the resol1Jl;ion be adopted as read. Roll oall. was ordered again and
the voile was ~e8S Keozer, Dels:man, Crandall, Tayler, Applewhite. Nays. Carson.
Carson voted "no" belteving that there was a possibility of injury "to the quality
and/or quantity of the Lithia Wailer.
Or, motion, the Counoil adjourned "to :meet at the oall of the Mayor:
