The Council met in adjourned session at 7130 P. M. this date. Present: Mayor
Wiley, Councilmen Carson. Crandall, :rayler. Absent: Councilmen Applewhite, Delsman.

An ordinance levying a tax forthe year 1941 in the sum of $42,029.00 upon the
real andpersonal property within/t the limits of the City of Ashland was read.
It was moved by Carson and seoonded by Tayler that the rules bc suspended and
the ordinanoe be passed to the second rcading by title only. Carried. Following the
second reading. it was moved by Crandall andseoonded by Carson that the ordinence be
adopted as read and follO'?1ing a unanimous roll call, the Mayor declared City Ordinan611
No. 1009 adopted. .
.An ordinance notifying the County Assessor and County Clerk of all delinquent
special benefit assessments anddooketed city liens'was read the first time andit was
moved by Crandall andseconded by Tayler that the rules be suspended and the ordinance
passed "to the seoond reading by title only. Carried. Following the seoond reading,
it was moved by Tayler and seoonded by Carson that the ord.inence be adopted as read.
and following a unanimous roll call. the Mayor declared City Ordinance No. lOlO
adopted.
Upon motion by Tayler, seconded by Carson. Sup't Biegel and Sup't Hosler were
authorized to attend the sohool at Corvallis oonoerning Sewage Dmsposal. Carried.
On motion, the Council adjourned to meet at the call of the Mayor.
