Kayor Wlloy, Counoilmen I.pplowl3its, Daugherty, Tayler, Woodell. Absent. Counoilmen Crandall, Koozer. The purpose Of the meeting 'lIIloS to hear a proposal for the operation of the Flurry Mill trom Van Dyke and Frohmnayer, trustees. Van Dyke presented the DlAtter for the consideration of t he Council which envolved the selling of that portion of the air-port on which the mill was looated. Following a lengthY discussion, a resolution which had been prepared authorizing the Mayor and City Recorder to sign an assignment of lease anJ "to _ccute deed on said proper1:y was read. It _8 moved by Tayler and seoonded by I Applewhite that the rules be BUopellded and the resolution passed "to the seoolld reading by title only. Carried. Following the secolld reading, it was moved by Applewhite and aeocnded by Daugherty that the resolution be 4dopted as read and following a .mATlimnUll roll call, the Mayor deolared the resolution adopted. . A letter trom the City of Seattle Wawr Department inviting the City Water Super- intendent and other city officials "to attand the distriot convention of the .American Water Works Aaeooiation, J4ay 8-10 ..s read.
