The Council met in adjourned session at 3.00 P. M. this date. Present. Acting Mayor
Redford, Councilmen Daugherty, Fischborn, Nosler, Weitzel. Absent. Councilman Merrill,
Mayor Wiley.
The purpose of the meeting was to consider the water damage due to the excessive
amount of water coming do\Yn the Ashland Creek and to consider best means of preventing
future damage.
Following a brief session in the Recorder's Office, the Council went over to the
~ulvert and bridge near the Weitzel Building to investigate at first r~.
........ The City Superintendent stated that the tube carried the water as it was, but to
relieve the situation, another ditch could be dug.
Following fur tiler investigation, it was moved by Daugherty and seconded by Nosler,
that th~ City proceed with the excavation of a new channel parallel with the old one
in order to relieve the present situation. Carried.
On motion, the Council adjourned to meet at the 00.11 of the Mayor.
