The Council met in adjourned 'session at 8:00 o'clock p.m. this
date. Present: Mayor Wiley, Councilmen Daugherty, Fischborn, Merrill
and Redford. Absent: NosIer and Weitzel.
The reading of the minutes of the 12' evious Ill3 eting was dispensed
with.
The Mayor then announced that the time had arrive<< for the opening of:
~ the bids for the sale of $400,000.00 water bonds.
Thereupon the following sealed bids were opened and read:

Upon motion, duly made,
of Blyth and Company and the
Oregon was ,accepted.
seconded, and unanimously carried, the bid
United States National Bank of Portland,
It was then moved by Fischborn, seconded by Daugherty that the
bids for the concrete curbing and gutters on 7th Street should be
called for. Carried.

It was moved by Merrill, seconded by Fischborn that bids for the
purchase of steel for Crowson Hill Reservoir be called for and then to
proceed with the spillways on Reeder Dam. Carried.
The City Superintendent was authorized to. receive bids for the
Electric Dept. Chevrolet truck.
It was moved-by Redford, seconded by Fischborn that the City
Superintendent be authorized to lay olit the forestry service road from
Lamb's Mine to Reeder Dam.
