The Council met in adjourned session at 5:00 P. M. this date. Present: Mayor Wiley,
Councilmen Daugherty, Fischborn, Merrill, Nosler, Redford, Weitxel. Absent: None.
The purpose of the meet; ing was to continue study of the budget, particularly means
of reducing it to come within the 6 per cent limitation. Miss Mason, Don Spencer and llrs.
Fred Engle of the Library Board were preeent as both the Library Fund and the General
Fund were over the li:nitation. Increased costs in both supplies and services but with
limitatmon of only 6 per cent as set by law over the highest of the last three tax years
made it necessary to make some changes. It was decided to eliminate entirely the propoeed
radio am transmitter forihe Police, Fire and Electric Departments in order to reduce
the budget to the required amount..
On Motion, the Council adjourned to meet at the crall
