The Council met in adjourned session at 5:00 P. M. this date. Present: Ma:ror Wiley,
Councilmen Daugherty, Fischborn, Merrill, Redford, Weitzel. Absent: Councilman NosIer.
The purpose of the meeting was to take final action on the proposed budget before
submitting same to the budget oom:nittee. It was moved by Redford and seconded by Merr-.
ill that the $10,000.00 for the Water Fund be eliminated or offset by showing esti!lle.tod
revenues of $10,000.00 from the sale of timbe:-. Carried.
A proposed resolution adopting day-light savings in the City of Ashland was read
by the City Attorney. It was moved by Fischborn and seconded by Redford that the rules
be suspended and the resolution be passed to the second reading by title only. Carried
Following the second reading, it Vlas moved by Redford and seconded by Weitzel that the
resolution be adopted as read and follovmng a unanimous roll call, the Mayor declared

the resolution adopted.
A proposed ordinance changing water rates was read. It Vlas moved by Daugherty and
seconded by Redford that the rules be susp~nded and the ordinance be passed to the
second reading by title only. Carried. Following the second reading, it was moved by
Wei tzel and seconded by Fischborn that the <r dinance be m opted as read and following
a unanimous roll call, the Y~yor decl~red City Ordinance No. 1081 adopted.
On motion, the Council adjoUrned to meet at the call of the Mayor:
