ORDINANCE NO.~~5~
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14.12.080
OF THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE RELATIVE
TO ELECTRIC SYSTEM REGULATIONS.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 6 of Ordinance No. 1757 and Section 14.12.080
(A)(2) of the Ashland Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"2. Where the charge is absorbed in the rental for the
premises or space occupied, excepting multiple family
units which shall be individually metered pursuant to
ORS 456.763, and billed by the City."
SECTION 2. Section 6 of Ordinance No. 1757 and Section 14.12.080
of the Ashland Municipal Code is hereby amended by the deletion
of subsection (A) (3) thereof.
SECTION 3. That inasmuch as the provisions of this ordinance
shall be made immediately operative, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be effective upon
its passage by the Council ~nd approved by the Mayor.
