A strip or parcel of land, variable in width according to the map filed
in the Office of the County Surveyor of Jackson County, Oregon as
recorded survey number 8831 and being more fully described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of Donation Land Claim No. 45, TOwn-
ship 39 South, Range 1 East of the Willamette Base and Meridian, Jackson
County, Oregon; thence South 05021'24" East, 861.62 feet to a 5/8 inch
iron pin situated on the Southerly boundary of Beswick Addition to the
City of Ashland as said boundary has been established from existing
found monumentation, for the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence South
00015'32" West, 279.21 feet to a 5/8 inch iron pin; thence along the
arc of a 393.86 foot radius curve to the right, 49,93 feet, the long
