AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ALLEY LOCATED BETWEEN
"A" STREET AND "B" STREET, EAST OF THIRD STREET.
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing regarding the proposed vaca-
tion of an alley has been given a public hearing held in accord
with the provisions of Chapter 271 of the Oregon Revised Statutes.
NOW THEREFORE, THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. It is determined that the public interest will be
best served by the vacation of an alley located between "A" Street
and "B" Street, East of Third Street, in the City of Ashland, Jack-
son County, Oregon, and more particularly described as follows:
The 16-foot wide alley situated in Block C of the Rail-
road Addition to the City of Ashland, Jackson County,
Oregon, abutting Lots 30, 31, 32, 33, and 34 of said
Block C.

Reserving an easement for the perpetual maintenance of.
all existing utility lines and facilities currently in
place in the above described alley, and for future public
and private utilities which might become necessary.
SECTION 2. For the foregoing reason, the portion of the alley
described above is hereby vacated.
The foregoing ordinance was first read on the ~o~day of
July ,1982 and duly PASSED and ADOPTED this 3/l..(day of
ikF' 1982.
