That portion of Lot Seventeen (17) in the H. B. CARTER ADDITION to the
City of Ashland, Jackson County, Oregon, according to the Official Plat
thereof, now of record, more fully described as follows:
Commencing at a 1" square iron bar in a monument box monumenting the
corner between Sections 9, 10, 15 and 16 in Township 39 South, Range 1
East of the Willamette Meridian in Jackson County, Oregon; thence along
the line between said Sections 9 and 16, South 89°59'45" West 955.09
feet to the right of way centerline intersection of Ashland and Beach
Streets; thence along said Beach Street centerline, North 00°09'41"
West 646.95 feet; thence leaving said centerline, North 89°54'16" West
30.00 feet to a 5/8" iron pin situated on the Westerly right of way
line of said Beach Street and the true point of beginning; thence along
said right of way line South 00°09'41" East 50.00 feet to a 5/8" iron
pin; thence leaving said right of way, North 89°54'02" West 144.91 feet
to a 5/8" iron pin situated on the Easterly right of way of an eighteen
feet wide alley; thence, along said alley right of way, North 00°09'58"
West 50.00 feet to a 5/8" iron pin; thence leaving said alley right of
way, South 89°54'02" East 144.91 feet to the true point of beginning.
