AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1766 RELATIVE
TO THE PROGRAM OF UTILITY DISCOUNTS FOR SENIOR
CITIZENS.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1766 shall be amended
to read as follows :
"Section 4 . Application required. A Senior Citizen desir-
ing to receive a utility discount must submit an initial
application to the City therefor, on forms provided by the
City. The Director of the Ashland Senior Program, or his
or her designee, may periodically verify the continuing
eligibility of the Senior Citizen not more than once in
each ensuing twelve (12) month period. "
The foregoing ordinance was first read on the 7.7 " day of
1980, and duly PASSED and ADOPTED on 5`
1980 .
