AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 . 28 . 200 OF THE
ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE WITH RESPECT TO THE
APPOINTMENT OF A MUNICIPAL JUDGE PRO-TEMPORE .
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION 1 . Section 2 . 28 . 200 of the Ashland Municipal Code
shia7I- e--amended by adding a new sentence between the first
and second sentences thereof to read as follows :
"The Municipal Judge shall have a right to submit
recommendations as to the appointment or dismissal
of the Municipal Judge Pro-tempore, however this
shall not limit the Mayor' s power to appoint or
dismiss . "
The foregoing ordinance was first read on the
day of cc6 cam , 1983 and duly PASSED and ADOPTED this
day o c c.A 1983 .
