AN ORDINANCE LEVYING TAXES FOR THE PERIOD OF
JULY 1, 1984 , TO AND INCLUDING JUNE 30, 1985 ,
SUCH TAXES IN THE SUM OF $830,615 UPON ALL THE
REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY SUBJECT TO ASSESSMENT
AND LEVY WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF ASHLAND, JACKSON COUNTY, OREGON.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND, OREGON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby levies the taxes provided for in
the Budget in the aggregate amount of $830, 615 and that these taxes are
levied and assessed prorata upon all taxable property within the City of
Ashland as of 1 : 00 a.m. , July 1, 1984,
SECTION 2. That the City Council hereby declares that the taxes so levied
are applicable to the following funds :
General $286 , 014
Cemetery 41 ,645
Band 14, 271
Parks 445, 268
Recreation 19, 182
Hospital Bonds 21, 353
Flood Restoration Bonds 2, 882
SECTION 3. That the City Recorder is hereby directed to file, not later
than the 15th day of July, 1984, with the County Assessor of Jackson County,
Oregon , the tax levy approved by this Ordinance.
The foregoing Ordinance was first read on the E" day of
1984 and duly PASSED and ADOPTED this /9 day of
1984.
