Dear Property Owner:
This is to advise you that on February 7, 1989 by Ordinance No.
2490 the Council of the City of Ashland levied an assessment
against your property for the construction of downtown area
improvements in the amount shown on the attached statement. This
assessment has now been docketed as a lien against the property
in the Lien Records of the City of Ashland and is now due and
payable.
You are hereby notified that on or before March 8, 1989 either
this assessment must be paid to the City of Ashland or a
written application filed with the City Recorder for either of
the following options:
1. A written Application and Agreement may be
filed to pay the assessment in 20 semi-annual
installments plus interest (an application
form is enclosed for your convenience), or
2. Qualified senior citizens may apply for a
deferral of the assessment if the assessed
property is the residence of the senior
citizen, with the deferred assessment bearing
interest at the rate fo seven percent until
