MEMO OF UNDERSTANDING

RE: Contract Re-Opener
This shall serve as a Memo of Understanding between the City of Ashland and the Ashland Police
Association regarding the re-opening of the 2009-2012 Labor Agreement for wage and HRANEBA
Contributions per Article X Section 10.7 and 10.8.
Both parties have agreed to the following wage re-opener effective retro to July 1, 2011:
Increase base salary for all represented employees by 3%. Create the position of Senior Police Officer.
All officers with I Oyears or more with the Ashland Police Department will be automatically promoted to
the position of Senior Police Officer. A Senior Police Officer will receive and additional I% increase in
their base salary.
Both parties have agreed to the following HRANEBA re-opener effective retro to July 1, 2011:
Increase HRANEBA by an additional 1% of Salary.
